In a nostalgic return to their roots, legendary metal band Motley Crue is set to take over three iconic Sunset Strip clubs this October. The band, known for their wild antics and electrifying performances, will perform at The Troubadour, The Roxy, and Whiskey a Go Go as part of their “Hollywood Takeover” to promote their new EP, “Cancelled”.
Motley Crue’s decision to perform at these smaller venues is a significant departure from their usual stadium shows. The band, which recently headlined the 17,000-capacity Scotiabank Saddledome, will now play for a more intimate crowd of around 500 fans per show. This move is a tribute to their early days in the 1980s when they first made a name for themselves on the Sunset Strip.
The trio of shows will support the release of their new EP, “Cancelled,” featuring tracks like “Dogs of War” and a cover of the Beastie Boys’ hit “Fight For Your Right”. Alongside the performances, Motley Crue will host a pop-up store at the Rainbow Bar and Grill, offering exclusive merchandise from October 6 to October 12.
In addition to their musical endeavors, the band has announced the Motley Crue Giveback Initiative. This philanthropic effort will see the band partnering with non-profits, including Covenant House, which supports homeless youth. They will also auction off rare, stage-played instruments and host a charity dinner at the Rainbow Bar and Grill, with all proceeds going to Covenant House.
Tickets for the shows will be available exclusively at the box offices of the three venues, starting September 14 at 1 p.m. ET. Fans can purchase up to two tickets per person. The performances are scheduled as follows:
- October 7: The Troubadour
- October 9: The Roxy
- October 11: Whiskey a Go Go
